Gathering In

Another bank holiday and the family gathering in but tinged with sadness this time as the funeral is tomorrow so Emma and James and Katie arrive tonight and tomorrow will be very hard for them.

James is speaking and also playing the organ for a couple of hymns.Death of a parent is hard as it makes us very aware of our own fragility and tenuous hold on life –nothing is promised to us at all .

Emma has a wedding to attend ,a lovely new beginning time and I wish the bride and groom a great day and a good life . Been doing lots of beading, knitting, mixing textures, and fabrics together to gain new effects .

So with a full house again there will be lots of funand  on  Saturday hopefully the weather will hold and a nice celebratory lunch can be enjoyed to celebrate James and Katie’s engagement .

Have a great time and if you are too busy to knit or craft or bead at least you can be thinking about .
