Baltic cruise 2010
I am knitting again with the Kauni yarn love this fibre great for lace holds the design well.
The cruise well what can I say it was great. We flew into Copenhagen and within 20 mins we were in a cab heading for the port ,where I first saw Eurodam my word is she huge 11 floors.I t was onboard and time to meet up with Kim and go to life boat drill as we set sail. After 10 days I was just beginning to find my way around the boat was beautiful and o well kept everywhere gleamed and shone and the crew smiled all day. Hamim who looked after my cabin left a selection of different animals on my bed every day which amused me greatly.
Here are a few, very very clever.
Hamim as amused by our name and always loved saying ‘have a good day Mr and Mrs Day.
The highlights for Nigel were the sunsets and the Archipelago which he photographed a lot.
Russia for me was incredible and the colours are still in my mind.
Tallin I fell in love with and even found a house to buy
My best moment was in my 1st class when Gaye who has a shop in Charleston North Carolina finished her 1st slipper.Gaye is going to stock my patterns East coast in the USA.Here are a few more happy knitters enjoying life on the ocean wave
and between you and me Nigel and I have now caught the cruising bug it is a very economical way to travel .Way to go, loved it all and Kim our tour manager made it all so easy, thanks Kim.
