Fairisle and it snowed today

Well it snowed today the sheep shivered and I knitted more with the fairisle sampler.

I love cutting my steeks 

Then picked up all my border stitches for the corrugated ribbing and cut the armhole steeks

When I was looking at all yarn today the brain started stirring and I remembered double knitting which I have not done for ages,2 differing sides 1 piece of work so rather than finish my border I started playing.

Last year Lucy Neatby did a nice Bubbles scarf but being a bit more geometric than that I decided on  windows and until I go and lay down in a dark room and let the cogs whir away the geometric at the moment consists of rectangles,but hmmm watch this space
