Le fil de la Manche inNormandy at Chateau Miromesnil was my destination this weekend to teach and enjoy the world of wool.

The lower window at far left was my teaching room looking over the walled garden! What is not to like .

Allof my students were non native English speakers and the classes were fine for both Dutch and French.

Everyone had notes to take home in French and copies of my charts and they all learnt the techniques they came to learn from Doubleknitting to 3D Structured Tuck Stitches and of course Geometry of Shawl.

It’s lovely to knit up samples and know the students are inspired enough to return home and put their 3 hours learning to good use. I look forward to seeing finished larger pieces.
