It’s Christmas Timei
From my home to yours from my heart to yours I wish you Season Greetings.
It has been a very full year and the arrival of a 3rd Granddaughter Phoebe was a highlight indeed and her smile fills my heart. Three little hands to hold, 3 children to share my time with.
I have travelled far and wide seen new places, made new friends, taught new students tried new techniques, seen new yarns and most of all come home safe.
This place is my home my sanctuary and it is where I recharge my batteries do my designing create my garden, cook, knit sew and host my friends and family
On another note it has been a desperately sad year with two good friends dying within months of each other. I find myself often thinking of them and missing them sooooo much, Liz has left a huge hole in my heart and thirty odd years of friendship holds a lot of memories and I would not have missed any of them.
A new ornament on my tree will hang for her every year now. It does get harder the older you get when these events have to be faced. Liz never got to see my latest Granddaughter which is also sad.
We never know what the year will bring we must live and do our best, love hard, be strong, be creative and enjoy the ride and look after those around us.
A birthday celebration with my great friend Charity who is also a gift in my life. A beautiful evening with our husbands in a fabulous restaurant started the 66th year in my journey.
My work has grown as I have and I am thankful and grateful for every opportunity that is gifted to me.
Plans for next year are sketched out and it is more travelling, more adventures but equally more time for my 3 poppets whogive me far more than I can ever give them. Merry merry Christmas to you all
