Kauni yarn
Well I have bene doing loads of research into yarns form the Baltic area and this one struck my fancy ,so ordered from Igla Leja look at these colours to come as I knit.It is a fingering weight and has a lovely Shetland type feel to it.I have decided to do a simple stitch which gives alovely woven appearance to the work
3.75mm needles cast on 39 stitches
Row 1 RS K1 *SL1 wyif,K1 rep to end
Row 2 WS K1 P1*SL1 wyib,P1 rep from * last stitch K1
love this effect and have used it in a softer yarn before, people never believe it is knitting not weaving ,so there you go, think I will take this as my onboard knitting.
