I am here to teach at the above event and I am staying here at the beautiful Hoveringham Hall with stunning views from our kitchen window.
The trees are magnificent and very old – I wonder if the person who planted these dreamt as I did when I have been planting my 80 odd trees what will they look like in their maturity.
The part of the Hall we are in is very old but charming nevertheless.Lovely homely touches like the fresh flower posy on the kitchen table is appreciated.
There is very much a mid Autumnal air around now and the leaf colour stupendous.
A little history lesson:
A peaceful beautiful place to stay and a fabulous meal in Lowdham at The Railway.
We also visited Belvoir Castle to see the new Engine Yard range of shops – pleasantly surprised by the Mr Mole garden part which had wonderful plants.
The Fuel Tank restaurant was delightful for a quick lunch.
Back to the Hall for a cozy night in.
Goodbye Helen and Hoveringham Hall until next time – it has been lovely.
