Weather

I know my brother in Canada is most likely laughing at my fuss over the snow here but it is so unusual to have this much this quick and everything has come to a standstill.
We are totally cut off we cannot walk up the hill 5′ wall of snow stops us
We cannot get past our neighbours house down the way
All we can do is enjoy this time and go over the fields to revel in the stillness and silence of our world.
Even with the huge big red shutters closed on the windows,the ferocity of the wind blew the snow behind them creating lively designs on the glass.
